Sunil Upasana hails from Kerala (India) and has been a Bangalorean for 15 years. Sunil is Bachelor Degree holder in Philosophy and Diploma holder in Computer Hardware Maintenance. He has Google Cloud Platform PCA, ITIL V4, CCNA, MCSA and SCNA certification in IT field and now, working in a leading Multinational Bank. Sunil is partially hearing impaired from 12 years old (45% neural deafness). Apart from the passion towards literature and philosophy, Sunil is also interested in History, Politics, Fitness and traditional Temple Arts.

This is a prestigious award of Kerala Sahitya Academy (A Kerala Govt Undertaking), for the best Short Story Collection of young writers under the age 35. Sunil received this award on 2018, for the year 2016.
